Sephora

This branch for some reasons doesnt have enough staff ALL THE TIME. And when you ask them for help, they're always hesitant. They would always ask you instead, did you check this, did you go there, Ive been walking around the store aimlessly around the staff for several minutes, isnt it time to assist when a customer asks for help? Everytime i visit this store, im always a lone shopper cos everyone is hesitant to help. I just visit this branch when i really have no other option. I gave stars though for leaving your customers alone.

Was there this morning about 10:15 Greeter looked right through me and didn’t reply to my greeting. There were many employees everywhere, but not one would help me. An older woman asked me curtly if I had a quick question maybe she could help. All the employees seemed to be filling bags rather than helping any customers. Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I left the store finally without buying anything.

Was in the coquitlam location today to use a $100 gift card I received as a Christmas gift and was told the card was not activated. The receipt was at home, which I had someone take a picture of so I could show the cashier but she said she could not help me and to call 877-sephora. When I called and spoke to the gift card specialist they said the card had been activated for 25 and then canceled. I have a receipt saying the card was paid for and the balance is 100. The card number on the receipt doesn't even match the physical card. They said they couldn't help me over the phone and that I would need to go back to the store. I was also really embarrassed when the cashier was rude and said there are gift cards all over the store and it could have been just grabbed and not paid for. She didn't even want to take my information like my name and phone number or the gift card number to look into the situation further until I asked her several times. I'm not happy with the customer service I received in store today and really stressed about the situation.

I stopped in at this location the other day and had the most amazing experience with Melanie. She was personable and friendly, very knowledgable, and she helped me colour match and find products that were in my price range. She was patient and kind with my 6 year old and helped her pick out a lip gloss. I would highly recommend to my friends and family! What a wonderful face for the company.

Today my wife and little son came to this store to use their gift card. The information from the clerk and the cashier was very different, and instead of helping the cashier, Melanie yelled at my 3 year old son when he sat in the chair, instead of respectfully and patiently explaining what was allied and what was not. She also called my wife bad. This behavior is unacceptable and I need the manager of this store to take action to prevent this behavior from the merchandise and especially from Melanie. My son and my wife will probably never return to your store. Instead of having fun and using the birthday gift card, she became very upset.

This Sephora is actually horrendous. Today my friends and I went in to shop for the Sephora savings event and we were followed around the store by the security guard and workers for half an hour (thats how long we would have stayed there). I asked the workers questions nicely about products i was interested in and I even held all my items in a basket. To give you an idea Im an 18 year old female and I was dressed normally, with no bag on my just my phone wallet and keys in my pocket. LITERALLY WHAT AND HOW WOULD I STEAL. But the security guard followed me around the store and stayed only a metre away from me at all times as I was trying to shop. It was getting annoying so i asked him are you okay can i help you because mot only was he circling me he WAS ALSO STARING NON STOP AND SMILING like a jerk. I moved to another section and I was followed, then to another and I was stared down again. I told a worker named Christina I believe, about my troubles literally being harassed at this point and she didnt seem to care or do anything. And then I had enough after them not doing anything so I got frustrated dropped my items and left but as I was leaving I approached him because he was still watching and smiling and I questioned him I said I am not stealing he can check if he wants and what his issue is following me around the store and staring at me. He told me its his job and he has the right to stare. Uhm of course you can do your job and if you’re suspicious you should look into it but who says you can harass a customer as you please. If you’re suspicious just approach me so i can let reassure you im a regular customer but dont follow me around and ruin my shopping experience. Im just a student and i wanted to purchase discounted items, if the sephora workers helped me out today i would have spent $130+ In that store but nevermind. Will not be shopping there again.
